Summary

QSBSCalc is a calculator-first reference site. The interactive decoder runs entirely in your browser; no decoder inputs (issuance date, basis, gross-asset value, gain amount, state of residence) are ever transmitted to our servers or to any third party. Server-side analytics, when enabled and consented to, are limited to standard page-view information.

What we collect

• Page-view analytics (Google Analytics 4, if consented): page URL, referrer, anonymized IP, browser, device class, locale, timezone, screen resolution, and a randomized client ID. Consent is managed via the cookie-consent banner; we operate under Consent Mode v2 with all consent defaults set to denied.
• No decoder input data. Your dollar amounts, dates, basis figures, and state of residence are not collected, logged, stored, or transmitted. They are held in your browser's memory only.
• Server logs: standard web-server access logs (IP, requested path, response status, user agent), retained for security and operational analysis for up to 30 days.

Cookies

We use one consent-state cookie (functional) and, after consent, the Google Analytics 4 cookies (_ga, _ga_*). No advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking. No third-party advertising network is loaded.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You can request access, correction, or deletion of any personal data we hold by emailing the data controller above. Because the decoder collects no personal financial inputs, there is rarely anything to access or delete beyond standard analytics records.

Children

QSBSCalc is intended for tax-paying adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
